Finished project (3 years in the making)

This doesn't look like it should have been a 3 year project, but unfortunately it often takes me a while :)
I got the idea from a Pottery Barn catalog a long time ago. Then started collecting supplies for it. I couldn't get the moulding to line up in the corners so I let it sit for a year or so. My talented brother-in-law Josh fixed the corner problem and put it on the wall (thank you Josh!!) I painted it and it sat again with one empty frame for a long time. After seeing the cute photo display on my friend Angela's blog that she had assembled after less than 3 weeks after a move and finding out that her whole house was painted, cleaned, organized, decorated, etc. AND she's working on her outside landscape now I decided maybe I could get my act together and finish one project. I'm so glad I finally did! It feels great to have something completed. I think I'm ready to get some more "projects" crossed off my list.

  1. Looks great! I have been trying to finish a few projects myself. Mom has inspired me to get some stuff done. She is definitely on a roll with her decorating. We are looking forward to seeing you soon. I got my jingle bells ready.

  3. I love it! Very fun, this blog thing is great, I can make you all think that my house is decorated, cleaned and organized with one simple picture. :) I'll just let you keep thinking that...

  4. Oh my gosh Amy--you always outdo yourself. Your entire house is decorated so unbelievably cute--just like a Pottery Barn magazine. Beautiful!

  5. I copied you, not on your Pottery Barn idea, but on our most recent photo shoot. See our blog.... and please forgive me for being a copy cat. I always tell Brooklyn, "Honey, it's a compliment when people copy you. It means they really like you." And I do. I really like you! I hope I don't drive you NUTS! :)
